Prairie Cedar Projects

Pavilions

Inspired outdoor living space that sets the bar.

Great for entertaining and all-around outdoor living.

Rain or shine; there is nothing like a covered outdoor living space to help make the most of three seasons in the great outdoors.

Add a fireplace, an outdoor kitchen, and a screen and it will be a destination year around.

Solid wood timbers, open ceilings and solid roof decking make this an eye-catching addition to your home.

Pavilions

Often stick built on site from the ground up.

Solid wood posts with solid wood beams for walls. Connected by A-frame trusses on post intervals, centered onto a ridge beam with common rafters in between. one to two-foot overhangs with suspended fascia boards.

Roofing material, color and medium to preference (shakes, asphalt, corrugated sheet metal).

Patio stone or concrete floor.

Possibly a fireplace centered on the back gable. Built in outdoor kitchen.

Size and girth of structural members, scaled to size and spans, and subject to structural requirements.

Lumber Care: Once you start construction, keep your wood building materials covered with a tarp, especially on hot sunny days. This makes a huge difference as it keeps your lumber straight & true!
